PODGORICA, Montenegro, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- International security authorities will host a workshop in Montenegro Monday aimed at combating networks that finance terrorism.

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe set up the workshop, scheduled to take place in the small northeastern Montenegrin town of Becici.

The workshop is designed to facilitate a dialogue with top security authorities from around the world. OSCE officials are bringing the experts together so they can interact and exchange thoughts and ideas with local officials on targeting money laundering that goes to finance terrorism in the region, the OSCE reported.

The two-day gathering is expected to focus on strengthening cooperation in investigation techniques and methods and also highlight Montenegro's newly designated Inspection Control Department.
