Al-Ayyam (West Bank): Bulldozer Attack Kills 3 Israelis and Attacker – The Israeli police said a Palestinian from occupied East Jerusalem rammed a bulldozer he was driving into an Israeli bus and Israeli cars in Yaffa Street in West Jerusalem, killing three Israelis and injuring at least 54 others, while the attacker was shot and killed by nearby security officers. The Israeli authorities said the attacker, Husam Tayseer Duwayat, 30, is married with two children, adding he had a criminal record.
As-Safir (Lebanon): Nasrallah Announces Formal Approval of Prisoner Exchange Deal – Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah announced in a press conference via satellite the official acceptance of the deal the Israeli cabinet endorsed regarding the exchange of prisoners. He said all that remains is the final time schedule of the procedure, adding he believed the exchange will take place around July 15.
