The National Security College, based in the coastal town of Herzilya, had previously shunned overseas students, regarding the methods and techniques honed at the center as top secret.
But a report in the Ma'ariv daily said that General Dan Halutz, the army's chief of staff, had now agreed to allow officers from some of Israel's allies to participate in the courses.
A German army officer was among six foreigners who have already been put through the ropes at Herzilya while dozens more from countries such as Italy, France, India and South Korea were expected to attend next year.
There was no immediate confirmation of the report from the military.
