Youssef Ibrahim neither understands the military history of Iran nor the resolve of Americans to oppose terror and blackmail (“Itching for another fight,” MET 34).

Iran is a Third World military power with antiquated Soviet equipment that failed to overcome Iraq, which the US military trounced in a few days.

The US would not need help to annihilate Iran, because we are firmly entrenched on their eastern and western borders.

The Iranian people are weary of the bondage of their dictatorship and need help to be able to democratically choose their own form of government.

If the foolish mullahs and generals continue their nuclear blackmail they will find their faces on a deck of cards and their oppressive regime on the scrap heap of history.

Be sure, the sights of our nation are upon any source of terror. You had better hope that George Bush is not reelected. If Iranian despots continue to threaten my nation they will pay a terrible price.
